A delightful side dish that combines the earthy flavor of Brussels sprouts with a sweet and spicy honey Sriracha sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- Chopped green onions, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and garlic powder.
4. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
5. Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until tender and slightly crispy.
6. Remove from the oven and drizzle the honey Sriracha sauce over the sprouts. Toss gently to coat.
7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
This dish is versatile and pairs well with many main courses or can be enjoyed on its own.
Adjust the Sriracha to control the spice level.
For extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the baking sheet.
